We experienced Peru more expensive than Bolivia, it's almost double the price on most stuff. However, we managed to spend less money. Our daily budget has been around 350-400 SEK, but we didn't do as many activities as in Bolivia, and we never traveled by plane. In that daily budget all underneath is included, plus food and alcohol. 1 Soles is (today) 2,5 SEK and 0,34 USD. We stayed in Peru for 17 days.

- Bus from Copacabana to Cusco: 40 Soles
- Hostel number 1 in Cusco: Wildrover 29 Soles, 8 bed dorm
- Hostel number 2 in Cusco: Point: 25 Soles, 14 bed dorm
- Machu Picchu by car 2 days/1 night: 397 Soles (135 USD) We got 76 Soles back because we didn't go with the car the next day.
- Machu Picchu train: 252 Soles (86 USD)
- Bus from Cusco to Ica, 16 h, Moviltours, 100 Soles, include dinner and breakfast
- Hostel Huacachina: Plaza de Arena, 30 Soles, 13 bed dorm
- Sandboarding with snowboardgear: 100 Soles
- Bus from Ica to Lima: Cruz del Sur, 36 Soles include snacks
- Bus from Lima to Trujillo, 60 Soles
- Hostel in Huanchaco: Casa de Amalia, 20 Soles, 3 bed dorm
- Bus from Trujillo to Piura: 35 Soles
- Bus from Piura to Mancora: 18 Soles
- Kitesurf lessons: 135 Soles/h for lessons, 170 Soles for a whole day rent with a supervisor, 150 Soles for rent a whole day
- Hostel in Mancora: Loki, 30 Soles, 6 bed dorm
- Snorkling with turtles: 80 Soles

The hours by bus is not correct on this map, it took us a lot longer than what google says it takes.

In this blog I'm writing about my life as a backpacker and a seasonal worker. I've been traveling the past five years and just can't stop. I'm simply too dependent and the grass is always greener on the other side they say... I hope to inspire and help other Travellers by sharing my experiences through this blog. If there's any questions, don't hesitate to write a comment or contact my mail. And remember, a little comment will inspire me to write more often!
