Svensk sommar2013-05-31 19:26:44

I'm back in Sweden after a long and lonely journey! Mum and dad waited for me at the airport, but so did not my luggade... Hmm I hope I'll get it back soon, or else I'm gonna get loads of money from the insuranse to buy heaps of new clothes, yey!
It was nice to see the family again, as always, and they fed me with awesome food and now I can't move. We had the dinner in the new outhouse, or whatever you call it, for the first time ever. Pretty nice!
Chips was happy as usual, even though he seems to be a bit lazy nowadays! He got stuck of plenty of the pictures and he's not very happy with me anymore...
But hey guys, thank's for an awesome season in Banff! It's been so much fun! But I'm going to go over to the swedish writing from now on, because I know your all laughing about my spelling and reading it out loud (Mikes). And I can't express myself as I want to in english. Plus, who of you want's to read about my dog and our swedish food? Pretty booring hey? But if you still want to read, translate it with google translate that is just on the side over there ---------------------> And you might learn some Swedish aswell wich is always good for you, right!?
Here's a sneakpeak for you sis!
Mmmmm I want that little bone....
yeah, I really want it....
Yeaaah Yeaaahhh it tastes sooo good!
Last of Banff2013-05-27 23:11:00
So the last day suddenly appeared. The last of 7 months at this amazing place called Canada. But you have to move on and say goodbye to everything and everyone. This time was especially hard, maybe because the season was extra long this time, maybe because I had to leave my sister behind or maybe because I had to say goodbye to so many amazing people that I always will remember as the best. Probably a combination of everything. It's sad. I'm sad.
However, the last week we had not the best weather you could wish for. Rain, rain and even more rain. There's not much to do then. But the last day we went to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake just to do something.
Summer and winter at the same time

Guys, I miss your beautiful faces already!
I will miss you2013-05-25 04:09:00
The best thing about travelling is all the people you meet. People from different parts of the world, people who will come close to you and be your best friends.
For a while.
The worst thing about travelling is to say goodbye to all the people that you've met. To say goodbye to your close friends that you know you will probably never, ever see again.
That sucks. I can't do it anymore. I don't want to say goodbye. I will miss you all, all of you who have done this season as amazing as it's been. Take care and I'll see you on Facebook.
Bye <3
Yes, finally saw some bears!2013-05-23 05:49:00
UPDATE: The bears are not from a zoo, they are totally wild. We saw them along the highway, therefor the fence.
Everyone's been spotting bears around Banff now lately, and I was a bit worried that I wouldn't get the chance to see one before I'll leave. But hell yeah, today we drove to Lake Louise and saw three of them! One black bear pretty far up in the trees along the road, and two grizzlies playing around at the exit to Lake Louise, just beisde the highway. They did'nt seem to care about us at all so we went out of the car to get closer. Fuck yeah, I got to see some bears!!! Pretty awesome!
Just chill´n...
YAY YAAY!

The End2013-05-22 07:24:56
So the season has come to an end. Yesterday was the last day that Sunshine Village was opened, and that was celebrated with the popular Slush Cup. It's been a great season with awesome people! Now it's about time to pack the bag again and clean the house, I'm leaving Canada in a few days....
The best boss ever, cooking us food all the time!
The best/worst google-tan of the season. Or she ate to much spagetthi bolognaise
Grassi Lakes and Cave and Basin2013-05-22 07:05:00
Instead of going up snowboarding in the slush at Christines birthday we did a few hikes. Canada is really beautiful, It doesn't feel too much fun to leave this country yet actually...
We drove to Lake Minnewanka one night and watched the Northern Lights.
Summertime2013-05-13 23:24:11
When I was packing my bag back in Sweden for the season I was not expecting it to be summer here before I went home. I had to buy some new clothes and bikinis, even flipflops. So we've been boarding in the mornings and then done some summer activities in the afternoons, such as biking and canoing. Life is pretty good and I start to feel a bit sad to leave Canada in the summer because it's so damn beautiful. And I love the wildlife. A few weeks ago they had to shut some of the lifts down at Lake Louise because swedish liftie Klara spotted a grizzly bear at the bottom of her lift. And our housemate James saw a bear crossing the road in front of him when he was driving. That's pretty cool, my eyes are wide open for bear right now I tell ya!
It's only a couple of days left to work, and the mountain is pretty dead right now. Especially at Tee Pee, but I don't mind that, I've been sunbathing in a bikinitop at a matress in my lonelyness. And got burnt about a hundred times. It was 21 degrees on hill the other day. It feels really wierd when I think back at the days when it was -25 degrees up there, and you can still go boarding with a 46 degrees differens. Crazy. But it's very slushy now, you can't even turn on a black run or you won't get any speed and get stuck. Yesterday it rained too, that will hit hard on the snow. I really hope it won't be a thunderstorm when I'm sitting in that top shack together with that propane tank. I really don't want to get hit by the lightening, again....

No Canada without hockey, right?
Banff Life2013-05-12 06:46:46
The summer has arrived to Banff, the last week we've had around 20-26 degrees every day. It's crazy, nobody was prepared of this and everyone got sunburnt. Big time. It's only two weeks left until I go home and I'm not looking forward to say goodbye to all of this. Things are happening all the time, boarding/sun tanning during the days and BBQing at the river during the nights. I don't have time for that photo project I have to finish before 1st of June to get into the school I want. I'm stressing out a bit over that but whatever, we will see how that goes...
About a week ago or so
