Stolar, bord, sängar, väggar, golv - allt i salt.

// Apparnetly I was a bit tired when I wrote the last post of the Salar de Uyuni. The desert was really cool and we stopped at an "island" which mostly consisted of cacti. After a full day in the desert we entered our Hobbit-look-a-like hut, which was built of salt. Chairs, tables, beds, walls, floors - everything was salt. We hiked up the mountain to see the sunset and ate dinner with our group which consisted of; a Spanish doctor, a French couple who sold everything they had at home, quit their jobs and are now traveling around the world. Last but not least, a Belgian who could neither speak English nor Spanish, but he traveled alone through bodylanguage.

The second day we headed off to look at an active volcano, and all kinds of moonscape. We went to a lot of different lakes in different colors and spotted loads of flamingos. Laguna Colorada, located very close to Chile, is a bright red lake with white minerals. We experienced very barren, strange scenery during the day, kind of like being on the moon maybe?

In this blog I'm writing about my life as a backpacker and a seasonal worker. I've been traveling the past five years and just can't stop. I'm simply too dependent and the grass is always greener on the other side they say... I hope to inspire and help other Travellers by sharing my experiences through this blog. If there's any questions, don't hesitate to write a comment or contact my mail. And remember, a little comment will inspire me to write more often!
