Emelies Travels

Jag vill ju så gärna få börja jobba med bildbehandling, först och främst få utbilda mig inom det. Och fram tills att det är dags att söka till skolan igen så skulle jag vilja skaffa mig så mycket erfarenheter som möjligt. Jag gör ett försök här, vem vet, kanske rätt person halkar in här på bloggen? Jag skriver på engelska för att kunna nå ut till så många som möjligt.

 

I really want to start working as a photoeditor. Until it is time to apply to the Photoschool again, I would like to get as much experience as possible. I'm making an effort here, who knows, maybe the right person will see this? So here's my story. I realized that I wanted to work with photography one year ago, so I started on a photojournalism education here in Sweden. I discovered very early on that this was not the kind of photography I wanted to work with, so I cancelled my studies. Someone told me about a Photoediting School and that opened my eyes. This is what I wan't to do in life. I studied courses this whole spring to be able to apply for this school, but to my despair, I ended up as the number 7 on the reserve list (out of 26 reserves and 18 admitted). I really want to study this so I will apply again next year.

 

I've just finished some work for an onlineshop with photoediting that a did for a couple of weeks. I've been working in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for many years. I am a member of Moderskeppet.se which is a website with loads of onlinecourses in editing and photography, and I constantly strives to see new courses there to learn as much as possible. However, I have just been shooting with DSLR for a year, but all my editing made me realise that I want to learn photography too and I really love it. But the image editing will always be my prior one.
